The position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms to include hotel rooms, condominiums, and casitas in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
Our housekeepers work in teams of two to complete their tasks throughout the day.
Job Duties:
Strip beds and replace them with clean linens.
Replace all towels.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
Remove trash and place it in dumpster.
Take soiled linens and towels to the laundry department.
Stock cleaning caddies each day.
Stock hotel supply room daily.
Wipe patio tables & chairs.
Assist with laundry.
Maintain equipment in good working condition.
Reports all maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pulling, reaching, squatting, and climbing.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English due to safety and operational needs.
Must be able to often lift, push, pull or drag items weighing up to (40) forty pounds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Requires frequent exposure to heat and cold.
Must use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment background check prior to offer of employment.
Caliente is a Clothing-Optional Resort and Residential Community.
All staff are fully clothed.
