Job Duties:
Verify invoices to ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors.
Assemble, review, and code invoices to be completed for payment.
Submit invoices to the appropriate Department Head for payment approval.
Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures of the company.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Obtain W-9 on all contract vendors.
Complete credit applications and other duties as assigned.
Assist with special projects.
Maintain good vendor relationships.
Requirements:
Requires proficiency in Excel, Word, and QuickBooks Desktop.
Must have basic accounting knowledge and understanding of expense accounts, as well cost centers.
Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English due to safety and operational needs.
The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment background check prior to offer of employment Caliente is a Clothing-Optional Resort and Residential Community.
All staff are fully clothed.
