Come join the team at the best lagoons in the United States! JOB SUMMANY- Cafe Bartender- Metro Lagoons is pleased to announce we are seeking a bartender/host for an exciting and unique opportunity at the Wild Thyme Caf at the Angeline Welcome Center in Land O' Lakes, Florida.
The Wild Thyme Caf operating team will be small, and every member will wear multiple hats.
Primary duties will be tending bar, preparing and serving light meals, selling and operating the register for food, drink, and retail sales.
The Wild Thyme Caf will be open to any visitors, but primary clientele will be Angeline community homeowners and potential homeowners.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and promote positive guest experience.
Prepare and serve both non-alcohol and alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant Guest.
Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
Plan and present bar menu Check IDs to ensure appropriate customers meets legal drinking age.
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol, following all company and state guidelines.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar facility Professional manner, discretion, and appearance Excellent customer service skills Experience Using a TurboChef preferred Strong work ethic Leadership experience preferred Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
Proven experience in performing light maintenance tasks, preferably in a similar setting Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to work outdoors occasionally The required schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, some evenings required, and flexibility is essential Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
