Assists in administration of recreational center; i.

, answering telephone, registering participants, opening and closing facility, setting up and taking down equipment and facilities according to assignment and schedule.
Supervises a group of participants, planning activities, and administering discipline in a camp situation or playground program or at a recreational facility.
Gathers all necessary equipment or supplies for programs.
Assists with light maintenance and custodial work required to support recreation programs.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and also push or pull heavy objects.
Performs related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to perform manual labor.
Effective organizational skills.
Knowledge of rules and techniques.
Leadership ability.
Knowledge of a variety of recreation activities.

Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
Certification in CPR and First Aid must be received within six (6) months of employment.
